Refund policy
Every order is a one-off piece of creative work made for a specific person. Because of this, our refund policy is structured around making sure you end up with a song you can use — not around discouraging refunds.
What is included
Every order includes one round of revisions. After you hear the first version, you can tell us what feels off — a line, the chorus, the overall tone — and we will revise.
When we will refund
- If after the revision the song still does not fit, you can choose between (a) a second rewrite, or (b) a full refund.
- If we are unable to deliver the song by the date you specified at checkout, you receive a full refund.
- If a technical issue on our side prevents delivery, you receive a full refund.
When we cannot refund
- Once a finished, approved song has been delivered to your email, the order is considered complete and is not refundable.
- If the brief on the order form was significantly different from the revisions you ask for (for example, you ordered a country song and ask us to rewrite as a rock song), we may charge a small fee for the additional rewrite.
How to request a refund
Reply to the email thread we sent the first version on, or contact us at hello@thefuneralsong.com. Refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.
